Our Mission

To Set Global Standards, Co-creation Opportunities and be a catalyst for constant Growth & Development for its practitioners by ensuring adequate promotion and visibility both locally and internationally.

Our Impact

Over the past five years, Animation Nigeria has helped increase the global visibility of Nigerian animation by supporting over 40 studios to access major international markets such as Annecy, MIPJunior, MIPCOM, Kidscreen Summit, and Cartoon Forum. During this time, three Nigerian projects were selected for Annecy pitching and competitions, four studios secured international co-production partnerships, and two received grants for training and talent development.

The organization has also supported industry growth through workshops with the French Embassy and Annecy Film Festival, impacting 26 animation IPs, contributing to the Nigeria Broadcasting Code, and collaborating with events like AFRIFF, LIFANIMA, NIFS, and Social Media Week to strengthen the local animation ecosystem.
